Captain: Rayad Emrit

Rayad Emrit is a veteran player in the West Indian domestic ranks and has played cricket for nearly 14 years. He hails from Trinidad province and his knowledge of conditions will be very vital for the team`s victory chances this year. Rayad Emrit is a bowling all-rounder who can be a handy batsman down the order.

Batsmen: Evin Lewis, Chris Lynn, Sunny Sohal, Nick Kelly

Evin Lewis and Chris Lynn form one of the most destructive opening pair in the CPL 2020. Both players can take away the match in a matter of minutes. Sunny Sohal and Nick Kelly (replacement of Rassie Van Der Dussen) lack experience of playing in big leagues and will serve as a reserve players for the team.

All-rounders: Fabien Allen

Patriots suffered a major setback as their star all-rounder Fabien Allen is set to miss the CPL 2020 after he missed his flight to Trinidad at the last moment.

Wicket-Keepers: Denesh Ramdin, Ben Dunk, Joshua De Silva

Denesh Ramdin is expected to don the wicket-keeping gloves for the team. Ben Dunk and Joshua De Silva are expected to slot in the playing XI owing to their batting capabilities. Ben Dunk is an experienced T20 campaigner while Joshua De Silva is one of the upcoming talents in the Caribbean ranks.

Bowlers: Sheldon Cottrell, Alzarri Joseph, Sohail Tanvir, Ish Sodhi, Dominic Drakes, Colin Archibald, Jon-Russ Jagesar, Dennis Bulli

Sheldon Cottrell and Alzarri Joseph will lead their bowling attack and they termed as the future of West Indian bowling attack. Veteran Pakistani Sohail Tanvir will further strengthen their pace bowling attack. Ish Sodhi is the only renowned spin bowler in the squad. Jon-Juss Jagesar and Dennis Bulli are the fringe spin bowlers expected to play alongside Ish Sodhi. Dominic Drakes and Colin Archibald will serve as the back-up for the strong pace bowling unit.

St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots CPL 2020 Prediction

St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots have a good batting line-up with the likes of Chris Lynn, Evin Lewis, and Joshua De Silva forming the top 3. However, they lack experienced back-up players in the batting department. Pace bowling is one of their stronger suits with a good mix and young and experienced players. Ish Sodhi is the lone experienced spinner in the team as they miss Fabien Allen. They also lack genuine all-rounder’s who can provide good depth and balance barring their skipper. We expect the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots to end their season in group stages itself as they have inexperienced back-up players, lack genuine all-rounders and quality spinners in their squad.

Top players to bet on:

  1. Sheldon Cottrell – Opening bowler
  2. Chris Lynn – Big-hitting opener
  3. Evin Lewis – Big-hitting opener
  4. Ish Sodhi – Right-arm leg-spinner
  5. Joshua De Silva – Middle order batsmen and Wicket-keeper
